Aberdeen Inn is run by owner-operators Tom Boyle and Michele Kala. Tom is a trained Master Chef and had been in private service for 22 years prior to opening a bed and breakfast in Oak Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, 12 years ago. Michele is a registered nurse, but has long had a passion for opening and running a bed and breakfast. She and Tom married in 2003 and have been working together in Oak Park until they made the decision to purchase the Aberdeen Inn."
